Once subscribed, you'll be invited to a Notion board for [Your Brand] x DesignTap. This is where you can add all of your design requests and track the progress of your designs.
Invite your team and add as many requests as you like to your board in priority order.
A design request can be anything from "design a landing page for a marketing campaign" or "create a brand identity for our premium soft drink" to "make our iOS app interface more usable". No design request is too big or small.
Most design requests are completed within 72 working hours (Mon-Fri, UK time). However, for larger requests such as multi-page websites, apps or more complex product thinking, it may take longer.
No problem - that's when DesignTap is most helpful.
James can add the most value by finding solutions to your user's problems, rather than simply designing from a specific brief. A great request starts with the problem(s) you're trying to solve and considerations to take into account.
(In your design board you'll find a template you can follow to make this process easier.)
Absolutely. These are some of our favourite requests.
If you're in the early stages of product discovery or launching a new product, you can lean on DesignTap to help with the "product thinking" and direction.
Not to worry - every design comes with unlimited revisions. Share your feedback and it'll be revised until you're happy.
Almost all product design requests are completed by James. Most packaging, document or branding requests will be completed by Ben, a senior graphic designer.
We almost always work in Figma.
Hiring a designer is time consuming, expensive and inflexible. Most startups need the skills of a senior designer, but at a £70k+ salary, it's hard to justify the cost year-round.
DesignTap is an ultra-flexible way of getting access to top tier design and product, without committing to a contract.
No problem. We'd recommend starting with the Standard Plan (or Pro if the project is large and urgent) and pausing after a month or two once the project is complete.
Not necessarily. DesignTap is often used to work with other designers in collaboration or following existing design systems.
It's worth booking a call with James before subscribing to best understand your needs and suggest the best way of working.
Absolutely. We've designed for plenty of other small to medium sized businesses, including e-commerce, restaurants, talent agencies and education, to name a few.
